Hi Beauties.

Yesterday, I had to go shopping for a few groceries & unintentionally bought a few make up & beauty products so thought I may as well do a little haul for you gorgeous lot.

All items I purchased were bought from shops that more than likely you will find in a High St. near you and are all relatively budget friendly.

Superdrug

Simple Micellar Water 200ML – £2.99 RRP £4.99

I was running low on my Simple Micellar Cleansing Water and initially wanted to try the Micellar water from Garnier, you know that one with the pretty pink lid? that I have seen lots of good reviews on lately, but to my disappointment Superdrug didn’t have any in stock but not to worry as my regular Simple Micellar water was on offer for £2.99 instead of the original £4.99 so all was well and good in the end.

Garnier Ultimate Blends 400ML £3.98 ea or 2 for £4

Garnier Ultimate Blends 400ML £3.98 ea or 2 for £4

Whilst browsing I also noticed that my new favourite range of shampoo & Conditioner were also on offer – The Garnier Ultimate Blends; Sleek restorer line are by far the best Shampoo & Conditioner I have ever used on my hair, they do everything they claim to do and more and they smell absolutely divine. I just love them and am glad I have finally found something that works well with my hair and seen as these were on offer for £3.98 for one and 2 for £4 it made sense to stock up.

I wanted a new Matte Lipstick and Pink Lip liner, so made a beeline to the Make Up

MUA Matte Lipstick -Peachy Keen £1

MUA Matte Lipstick -Peachy Keen £1

Academy Stand and diverted my attention straight to the sleek white packaging of the Matte Lipsticks  and ‘Peachy Keen‘ caught my attention, I haven’t got a colour like this in my collection and I’m not quite sure why. In-between a peach and a pink, I suppose you could call it Coral, Peachy Keen is the perfect colour to take you from spring to summer and for £1 it went straight in my basket.

Intense Colour Lip Liner - Softly Lined £1

Intense Colour Lip Liner – Softly Lined £1

Whilst at the stand I also picked up an Intense Colour Lip Liner in Softly Lined. Also £1 Softly Lined is a really pale almost sheer pink that would sit well under a nude pink lipstick.

On my way to the tills I also picked myself up a Batiste dry Shampoo in fruity & cheeky

Batiste Dry Shampoo £1.44

Batiste Dry Shampoo £1.44

Cherry which was on offer for £1.44 and 3 superdrug face

Face mask 99p

Face mask 99p

masks that retail at 99p each and were on offer for 3 for 2, I am yet to try the Superdrug own brand face masks so I will be doing a review on them to let you all know what I think. I bagged myself the Detoxifying dead sea mineral mask, Dead sea purifying Clay mask and the Calming facial sheet mask.

Peacocks

I was in Peacocks paying for my items when what should catch my eye? A nice little selection of W7 products. is it just me

W7 Absolute Lashes £3.50

W7 Absolute Lashes £3.50

or has anyone else noticed that W7 seems to have produced a lot of products that are dupes for various Benefit items? Being someone that can’t really afford high end at the moment a dupe is the next best thing so I’m not complaining so I picked up this Absolute lash Mascara for £3.50 which is meant to be a dead ringer for Benefits They’re real.

And for £2.50 I also picked up this W7 Lip Bomb In Strawberry which is a dupe for the EOS

W7 Lip Bomb - £2.50

W7 Lip Bomb – £2.50

Lip Balms. I already have an EOS balm again in Strawberry 20150401_151100but I wanted to compare them hence why I picked up the Lip Bomb.

Poundland

L’oreal Color Riche Nail Polish.

L’oreal Color Riche Nail polishes are definitely in my top 3 nail polishes that I love, they exceed expectations in performance, colour pay-off and long lastingness and are some of the best I have ever used, that’s why I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw them in my local Poundland. I picked up the colours 208 Chic Pink which is more of an Orange colour and 701 Midnight Mistress which is a really deep Navy and I think they both compliment each

CK Lip Gloss - Rich & Famous

CK Lip Gloss – Rich & Famous

other well. The last things I picked up were 2 of the CK – Calvin Klein Ultimate Edge Lip glosses one in 22303 Bubblegum which is a soft baby pink Colour and the other in

CK Lip Gloss - Bubblegum

CK Lip Gloss – Bubblegum

22310 Rich & Famous which is more of a dusky pink. I haven’t used these glosses yet but first impressions, they smell good and seem to have a nice shimmer about them maybe nice to use in the summer to protect your lips when you don’t want full on colour.

Have you purchased any items featured in this Haul?

What did you think of them?

MUA Winter Sale Haul.

Afternoon Beauties,

as some of you may have saw earlier in the week I posted my MUA Haul video and today I thought I would bring you a post in a little more detail including swatches and prices for everything.

MUA currently have a winter sale on which I took advantage of along with a couple of other offers to really maximize my savings meaning I could order more :-).

I have seen a lot of YouTubers rave about MUA Make Up especially Sprinkle Of Glitter who’s YouTube Channel I will link below I absolutely love her videos she is so gorgeous & Hilariously funny she loves MUA which is partly the reason I decided to try the range as well as the fact that it is amazingly cheap and very purse friendly.

The day I ordered I was lucky to find that it was 3 for 2 on Nail polishes including sale stock which you don’t often find also if I signed up to MUA’s Email newsletter I could get 20% off my first order ……. BARGAIN so all in all including delivery which was £3.60 I spent £10.40 which bagged me a mammoth 16 items.

Also in the sale was this eyeshadow quad of metallic shadows in neutral shades I really love the colours and how pigmented they are as you can see in the picture above. I purchased this palette for £1.

MUA POWER POUT STICKS - TOP TO BOTTOM - BROKEN HEARTED, CRAZY IN LOVE & IRREPLACEABLE.

MUA POWER POUT STICKS – TOP TO BOTTOM – BROKEN HEARTED, CRAZY IN LOVE & IRREPLACEABLE.

I love these Pout Sticks they really remind me of the Colour rush sticks from Rimmel, they come in lovely shades and they smell slightly minty to me again these sticks cost £1 each.

MUA 12 SHADE PALETTE - STARRY NIGHT - NO LISTED SHADES.

MUA 12 SHADE PALETTE – STARRY NIGHT – NO LISTED SHADES.

I love this palette and first impressions are great, it’s the 2nd MUA palette I own as I received one recently in a monthly subscription box. The shadows themselves are really pigmented, great payoff and no fallout when swatching I paid £2 for this palette.

I also purchased a cover up stick in light for 30p and a blusher in light pink which set me back a measly 50p.

My first Impressions of MUA on a whole some great products and seemingly good quality considering the price will almost certainly purchase from them again in fact I already have …. ooopsy, I will be  doing full reviews on some of the products mentioned so keep your eyes peeled for them.

Have you tried MUA products? what’s your view on them?
