Helllllooooo Beauties,

Recently I was very kindly sent a goody bag from the lovely people at Halo. Halo specialize in handy grab and go packs of wipes, suitable for many a situation. Whether you’re a busy mum or have a crazy on the go life, there is sure to be something in their range that will make things just that little bit simpler.

Halo Wipes.

Here’s what Halo have to say

You have a busy lifestyle, either at work or play. “You time” is snatched between the demands of others. Halo wipes offer the ideal personal care solution ensuring “freshness on the go” wherever you are. We love them and we think you will too.

And I have to agree I love them.

The Halo range consists of:

  • Fragrance Free Facial Wipes
  • Moistened Toilet Tissue
  • Hand Wipes
  • Deodorant Wipes
  • Antibacterial Multi-surface Wipes
  • Eye Make-up Remover Wipes

All come in packs of 10 apart from the Eye Make-up Remover which is a pack of 30, retail for around £1.09 a pack and can be found in Tesco, Superdrug, Boots, Spar, Sainsbury’s and many independent pharmacies.

I can’t find any negatives about the company or the products, maybe in the future I would like to see Halo produce bigger packs to keep at home, as I really like the quality of the wipes and they do what they claim to do which is a plus for me as all to many companies these days claim that their products can work miracles when really all you pay for is fancy packaging and not much else.

I love, how the company has clearly thought about what people want/need when producing these little gems and I think they could become a staple part in many a daily routine.

Any one who knows me personally will know how petrified I am of public toilets, I can’t Halo Wipes.be the only one who has this strange phobia? But it sure does feel like it when friends look at me oddly when out on day trips and I will not use the toilet however desperate I get – which by the way I do not recommend, as it is no good for your health, nor your bladder, but the antibacterial wipes did help me with this, I’m not saying they cured my phobia and I still not by any means don’t jump at the chance to use a public toilet, but they have helped in my more desperate times. They smell fresh and clean, left the surface looking clean, usable and not so scary and didn’t Halo Wipes.irritate the eczema on my hands like other Antibacterial wipes do.

The Moist toilet tissue is another saviour and must for when your out and about, leave you feeling fresh and don’t irritate the intimate area, feel soft with a citrusy scent and are ideal when you get the cubicle with no loo roll, or the loo roll that looks like its made to tear you to pieces.

Halo WipesAll though only 10 in a pack the hand wipes really go a long way, 1 was enough to clean 3 lots of messy hands when we were feeding the farm animals at the local nature trail which is often a disgusting slobbery mess. They are so soft, and thick with added moisturiser and leave your hands feeling gentle and hydrated.

Halo Wipes. The Eye Make-up remover pads are most definitely value for money having 30 in a pack. They are double sided and have one smooth and one waffled side perfect for tackling that tough eye make-up and waterproof mascara, I love these handy little wipes they don’t tug at the eyes and there is no fibre fall off which can be irritating, they don’t sting either unlike many other eye make-up removers and wipes. These were definitely a big hit for me.

I am yet to try the Deodorant Wipes Or the Facial wipes but I’m sure I will love them as much as I love the others.

Oz Naturals | Hyaluronic Acid Serum.

Oz Naturals

Hyaluronic ACID SERUM.

Oz Naturals.

Helllllloo Beauties,

recently I have discovered a company called Oz Naturals who specialise in cruelty free, almost completely natural & organic skincare products. Their products are also Paraben, sulphate, mineral oil, lanolin and gluten free which is amazing and what enticed me more into wanting to try the products as I am trying to find a more natural way to look after my skin without compromising my normal daily skincare routine.

Co-Founder and Certified Esthetician, Angela Irish launched OZ Naturals as a company that embodies everything she’s passionate about — healthy skin, anti-aging, natural ingredients, and utilizing the latest technology to formulate the highest quality skin care products on the market.

Utilizing her personal experience of skin issues, that she understands that when your skin is unhealthy it can negatively affect your self-esteem. After try tons of products over the years she was always left with the same skin issues as before. Sometimes even worse than before. Angela knows how disheartening this can be, especially when so many skin care products make huge claims, and simply do not deliver. It’s especially frustrating when the cost of those products are hardly affordable, and you realize once again that you’ve wasted your money.

While it’s true that beautiful skin is also hereditary, healthy skin comes from taking care of the inside and outside of our bodies. However, finding the right products for your skin can be the toughest part of the equation. This is why OZ Naturals was founded, to create healthy, premium skin care products to help those who weren’t naturally born with perfect skin, to obtain more perfect skin. The kind of skin that everyone deserves to have.

Oz Naturals is a top brand seller on Amazon and also featured in many well known magazines in 2014 including, Allure, Elle, Instyle, Woman’s day and Marie Claire. I have been lucky enough to be sent the Hyaluronic Acid Serum, to try out for myself.

I must admit I don’t really use facial serums and didn’t really know what they were for, I do have somewhat problematic skin so adding something new into my daily skincare routine, can sometimes cause problems.

Since receiving the product, I have now learnt what serums are made to do, and that is to help deliver moisturiser deeper into the skin, giving it the much needed moisture and Oz Naturals.hydration it deserves.

I love the packaging it’s plain and simple, the Green and White work well together and is pleasing to the eye, it comes with Oz Naturals.a little glass pipette style dropper which I prefer as you can really control how much product you want without waste.

The serum is slippery in consistency and almost clear in colour, all though in a relatively small bottle a little definitely goes a long way with a slightly bigger than a pea sized amount covering my whole face this product will be sure to last a few months.

Rather than change my skincare routine completely, I have just added the serum in, after cleansing and toning but before moisturising.

The first day of use I did breakout, but this is the norm for me when adding a new product to my face, so I saw past that and couldn’t believe how soft and plump it had left my skin feeling once it had sunk in. I felt like I didn’t need moisturiser as my skin was so soft, but I followed the instructions and added my moisturiser as per usual. I woke up the next morning to be greeted with a wealth of disappointment as to how greasy my face was feeling, I had just managed to keep my oiliness under control, to then wake up and feel like I had dipped my face in a chip pan, but one thing I did notice, was for the first time in months I couldn’t feel a patch of dry skin on my face.

I persisted with the Serum and tried using less moisturiser than normal an voilà, no oily mess the next morning and my breakouts had calmed to which was a bonus. I have used the serum for 7 days so far, and all though I wasn’t sold on it at first I think I most definitely am now my skin seems so clear, redness greatly reduced, plump and radiant even my pores seem to have minimized – BONUS!! I had never thought about using serum before receiving this one but will almost certainly be a staple part of my daily routine.

This particular serum retails at £12.39 on Amazon which is a steal considering how long it is going to last and I will definitely be purchasing more in the future.

Have you tried Oz Naturals? what do you think of them?

SBC – Simply Beautiful Collection | Rose & Argon Oil Skincare Gel | Review.

So, Very recently The lovely people at SBC – Simply Beautiful Collection, sent me some lovely skincare products to try out and for the past 2 weeks that is exactly what I have been doing.

One of the products I was sent is the Rose & Argon Oil Skincare Gel.

Rose and Argan Oil Skincare Gel_500ml-360x360An exquisite skincare gel uniting a classic fusion of Rose Essential Oils, Argan Oil, Chamomile and Passion Flower to condition, calm and soothe, whilst providing an immediate feeling of comfort, relief and coolness. An anti-oxidant gel that will ensure a softer, smoother, firmer, more toned looking complexion. Recommended for delicate skin, or skin with a tendency to flush.

I picked Rose & Argon Oil products because they are said to help skin that is prone to redness which is a problem I suffer with, all though not a fan of Rose scented items I thought I would give this a try and WOW it smells absolutely amazing I love it.

20150325_081831The gel is quite cold to touch so instantly gives that cooling effect, definitely one to keep by the bed on those warm summer evenings, it is wet in consistency but not runny and pretty much clear in colour.

A little really does go a long way with this gel I have been using it every day for around 2 weeks, sometimes even twice a day and it has barely budged so I would definitely say a 500ml bottle will last well over 6 months if only being used on the facial area but it is a body gel so can be used all over.

I very rarely have any hope in skincare products that claim to do so much, as I have never found something that works well for my problematic skin especially on my face and the same went for the SBC products I was testing, I had little to no faith in the products and I admit was wrong to have judged so quickly.

I have very blotchy red patchy skin especially around my nose and chin areas and have somewhat of an un-even skin tone, more so after I have cleansed so, after cleansing was the perfect time for me to be using the gel, within minutes of patting the gel into my flushed, red, patchy, skin my face instantly felt relieved of any burning sensations from cleansing & exfoliating which is something I battle with daily and I could see the redness was a lot calmer than usual.

The gel absorbs really quickly in to the skin which considering how wet it is you would’t expect it to sink in quite so quick and I could feel my skin tightening as it was absorbing it was quite a nice feeling. Once totally absorbed my face felt so smooth and it had eliminated at least 75% of redness.

When I woke up the next morning I couldn’t quite believe that I could still smell the gel that I had applied the previous night my Husband even commented on how nice I smelt and as I do every morning I rubbed my fingers over my face not a sign of oiliness nor a patch of dry skin, I couldn’t quite believe what I was feeling so went to check in the mirror and my skin looked glowing and wasn’t half as red as what my skin normally is on a morning.

I have continued to use this gel for 2 weeks and so far an I have never used anything like it, it is true to what it claims to do, I feel like i’m in somebody else’s skin I actually enjoy looking in the mirror now, it has helped with my redness to no end and I only tend to go red now when I exfoliate but that is quickly solved with some of the gel.

I would 100% recommend this gel to anyone who suffers with problematic skin like myself a 100ml bottle retails at a teeny weeny £9.50 and the massive 500ml bottle sells for £34.50 and is worth every penny in my eyes. This product is definitely one of my faves and I will 100% be purchasing it when I have finished this bottle. SBC is a brand that can be trusted with amazing customer service they have definitely earned themselves a 10/10 in my books and I can’t find anything to fault them on.

Have you experienced SBC? What are your thoughts on them?
